This self-directed project examines the diverse impacts of the 2019/20 Australian bushfire season, presenting key insights through a visually engaging and educational data visualisation ‘zine’ tailored for university students.

While numerous data sources provide statistical analyses of this bushfire season, existing visualisations often take a technical and scientific approach, making the information less accessible to younger audiences. This ‘zine’ reinterprets selected data with a more human-centered and relatable perspective, enabling university students to better contextualise and grasp the profound consequences of the fires.
